Getting Close!

Hey guys!

It's getting close!

And we are getting more and more gifts (ps, matt is really excited that we're only $30 away from a new xbox 360)!

I want to say how excited i am for all of you guys to be there with matt and i, and how excited i am to just SEE you!

We just got back from a friend of mine's wedding, and it was amazing (seriously Tess and Sean if you're reading this, i really enjoyed your wedding). I only hope ours can be as sweet as that.

I'm off to do the order of worship now for the wedding! So..........

hey guys!

i know it's been awhile since i posted anything, sorry about that.

We have found me shoes, and we are rolling right a long on a lot. We (matt and i) even ordered our rings. exciting!

we also have moved into our new apartment! Well... we have it, we can START moving in, actual move in wont' happen until August.

But just so you know! we have a new mailing address!!!

just found out today from Ruth (whos makign our dishware) that we will be using the barter system to pay for her work. I will be doing 2 large scale paintings of her children and trade for our dishes. YAY! i love it!

So we'll be removing that from our registry

and Invitations are in the mail... get a watchin for em :)

Presents

Wow guys!

We've already got presents rolling in! It's so exciting!!

One thing we just noticed tho! We don't know who sends us our Etsy gifts.... unless you let us know you sent them.

We want to make sure to thank all of our guests and gift givers! So please (somehow) let us know that you sent us a gift!

we love those vases... i say "we" and i mostly mean ME, hahaha matt likes them too.... but i'm generally the one who puts flowers in vases :)

Second round of Engagement/Dress/ How our Registry works

Hey Guys!

I hope everyone is doing well.

Matt and I take our second round of engagement photos tomorrow afternoon! I'm excited.

Also I just wanted to let everyone know that I found my dress. And it has pockets!!!!
What? Pockets you say??
Yes Mr/Ms I can't think outside the box! Pockets! and it's amazing! If you would like to know where to look online to see it, or for me to email you a picture of me IN "the" dress *, please let me know!

We are currently working on our registry! So there really isn't much up there. BUT here is how our registry works.

Felicite.com allows us to register from lots of different places online, and even allow us to register for help with our honeymoon. Matt and I are trying to be very eco/humane conscious with our registry. Which is why the words "Organic" or "hand made" keep popping up. We really want to make sure that our new home and our new life together is one that reflects who we are as people. And we are very conscious of who we impact and what we impact with what we buy. But let me get off that soap box and on to how the actual registry works. Felicite.com allows you to pay for partial gifts, give certain amounts of money towards our open ended gifts (Custom made dinner ware, honeymoon help, or ikea gift cards). Felicite will either order the gift for us and mail it strait to our house, or send us a check for the gift itself (depending on which is appropriate for the gift). We understand that some of you guys will still want to go and look for things in stores, so feel free to use this list as a guideline of things that we have in mind to want :). Another great place to look for gifts is Etsy.com. We have an account all set up for our guests. Log in name is mattandbri, and password is junesix. Once you log in click on "My Etsy" and look at the "favorites" list on the left hand side. And those are another set of gifts we would like to have :) (and they are all handmade)

Ok guys

We took our first round of engagement photos, and they turned out WELL!

These are the un-edited version, Karen is going to spruce some up, and we have another shoot, soooo I'M EXCITED.

And also!!!

Matt and I are taking engagement photos today with our friend Karen Wangers. SO that should be fun and we will post them up here. At least something can go right....... right?

Date of Doom

So we are having to shuffle this date around a lot to acomidate people (thus far just my family).

We will keep you posted, but we may just leave it where it is, which would leave out my dads half of the family (don't want to do that)

If we move it back that leaves out my mom's side of the family (poop)

and if we move it into June that screws over some of my friends (argh!)

Of course this couldn't be an easy decision..... but still....

Should know by the end of the weekend what we're doing.

The Engagement Story

Alright kiddos, gather round.... cuz I'm about to tell you a story of how it all went down.....


It was a dark and stormy night...... well it was dark, because it was night, and it wasn't so much stormy as "argue-y". But we'll call it story for the sake of theatrics.... and the dishes weren't done. Some one had to do 'em. But Matt sure was not happy about it. So the words started a flyin'. Back and forth, back and forth they went. Until finally the dust started to settle.
"You want a temporary band-aid to this, " he said with a slight smile on his face.
"You to do the dishes with out bitching about it?"
"No that would be a permanent band aid," just then he pulled out a little brown box with JA written on the top. I started jumping up and down, and then he asked "Brianna Kathleen Morris, will you marry me?"

The rest went down in history folks... yup. It was a good night. And you know... those storms did clear, after a bit.

We are in fact getting Married

This is crazy, and we're both freaking out but we love it (and each other) at the same time!
